Because of this discussion thread boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29596 I realized that people who never played Wingspan with a real physical set, and only online, can easily get lost in the progress of the game and have a hard time telling how many rounds and moves remain. I think the game could emphasize these elements and make them clearer in these ways:
1. Highlight the current row of the round goals board, and display "round X" to the right of that row. That would draw people's attention to the fact that the current round can always be seen by seeing which is the last row of the round goals board that doesn't have cubes on it yet. It's really obvious to those of us who played with a real game set, but it appears that people who play online only can easily miss or forget this until it's brought to their attention.
2. When it's your turn, instead of showing "Round X Turn Y/Z" at the top, instead say "Round X, N action cubes remaining" at the start of someone's turn. Once they start their action and the cube moves onto the board, change that to "Round X, M action cubes remaining, 1 action cube in progress." (Where M = N-1). This would make it much more obvious to new players that the cubes represent turns, that a cube is on the board when they're in the middle of a turn, and that they can always look at the remaining cubes on the sidebar to see how many more actions they have remaining in this round.• Kirjelda, mida sa soovisid teha, mida sa tegid ja mis juhtus

2. I would prefer Round X Turn Y/Z. Cubes Remaining is not clear and remains ambiguous as to whether more or less cubes are better, especially if a newb doesn't know whether cubes are being consumed or accumulated.
