I have the same issue on my laptop, also when I'm using external screens with different sizes. Really annoying! I use the Google Chrome browser.

This looks like an issue when you put the logs in a second column. Probably the reference for sizing should be another than the current one.
In the meantime till this is fixed, you can revert to displaying the game log "below the player panels" in the game preferences.
