Disagree. I feel it gives best information displaying them as a reminder. Also this is more similar to real life game.

I really miss the bonus chips which now doesnt show when checking the stack anymore. If the stack is empty of more regular tiles, seeing the bonus chip I still know I hit the right place on screen, not making me trying once or twice more to make sure I hit right.
