I added the Dark War Dire Enemies to have more variations. There is one Dire Enemy for each region in the base game and one for each in DW. I added the Watcher as only xp card so there are 2 Dire Enemies for each region.

Hmm maybe make it an option at table setup, to include Dark War dire enemies or not.

Variety is nice, but without actual rules of Dark War, Watchers is a bit wimpy since its ability has no effect :)

Yeah, I know. But in a full 4 player game, an easy Dire Enemy is much appreciated :)

It depents. If the game gets released in BGA and players play the game, then yes, I consider adding Dark War. All the XP Cards, Generals, Wagons and the 6 new Region are not a big problem. But it will take much time to play the campaing. And I like games, that do not take forever :)
