Yeah it is part of game that is maybe only for turn based a good addition but in cardgames normal played cards must be remember stuff.. so mistakes can be Made accidently and that make a game fun. .

Hah, actually I agree with you... but several people have requested that feature. I think part of the reason is they're playing turn-based games, instead of real-time ones. That means it might take several days (?) to finish a game, and they can't reasonably remember that kind of detail when they come back to the game.

I thought about making it an option, but I feel like most people will like seeing the heart count. Maybe you and I are the only ones who don't? :)

So for now I'm going to leave it like it is. But thanks for the feedback!

I’m not the only one... I think most die hard hearts players don’t like it. I can’t imagine that players really want that site gave info about played cards. I understand in turn based but you get then logs if you really want to see it. But I think option is really needed.

I play a lot of cardgames and played hearts much in real life and block always when someone try to look in the played tricks because it is kind of playing unfair.

One point someone made was that if you're playing Hearts in person (at a real table) you can see the tricks turned over beside each player. So that information is actually available to the players.

I agree that knowing the number of hearts (or if someone took the queen of spades) should rely on memory, though.

How about a compromise: I'll display the information in a turn-based game, but NOT a real-time game...?

Okay, I've made this update. The tricks and heart counter are only shown in Hearts if it's a turn-based game. This will keep the real-time game more "realistic", while giving turn-based players a chance to remember the state of the game when they return to it. Fair?
