Happening every time I load the game on tablet. It load everything except the board and the pieces.

Can you go to www.whatsmybrowser.org/ and paste here the "support team" link shown at the top, so we know the exact version of Google Chrome and some other specs for the device?

By iPad Air, you mean the latest one from 2019 (3rd generation), not 2013 or 2014, right? Do you see any error message or a banner suck on "Connecting to your game..." at the top?

No errors, it all looks normal except the unseeable board.

Thanks. This is strange. It is the old model iPad Air, but I think it should still work in Chrome 67. I'll have to think on this a bit more.

I don't think there's a way I can replicate this. We do use www.browserstack.com/live for testing the game on different devices. I've tested on Chrome 67 for Mac and it works correctly. BrowserStack offers the old model iPad Air for testing, but it has older software versions (Chrome 47).

I assume you already have the latest iOS and latest Chrome available from the app store? I also assume the WebGL test page get.webgl.org/ works correctly?

iOS 10.3.3 and latest Chrome. WebGL is ok. I'll try a new match soon, this one ended (I lost)

To anyone else having this same problem: if you're not also using Chrome 67 on iPad Air, please visit www.whatsmybrowser.org/ and add the "support team" link here. If we find the same bug happens on multiple browsers/versions that may help us narrow down the issue.

same prob, no board appears, after choosing the characters. prob because of old ios: 10.3.2

kawhi_leonard, yes unfortunately I know that Safari 10 won't work. Right now Safari 10 doesn't give any error message at the start of the game, but I should be able to fix that. (I did believe that Google Chrome on the same device was new enough to work, however?)

my ipad os is too old, can't dload chrome anymore. guess OP and i are still back in good'ole 32bit days.
anyways, great game experience (on laptop) - you the kawhi of coding!

There are two separate issues here. This ticket #20640 is ONLY about the long-standing problem specific to old models of iPads. The iPad issue is something completely separate (it's not a recent problem and the game has never worked on these devices). We're still troubleshooting and this issue remains unsolved. I deleted all comments on this ticket unrelated to the iPad.

Separately, the recent version released on 8/30 that added Clio had some different issue affecting various browsers/devices, in cases where the game DID function in the past. If the game was working for you before, please see bug report #23451 instead: boardgamearena.com/bug?id=23451

Same issue, after the second and third game I tried to play, the 3D table not is loaded and I have several penalties in the game because I can't do anything

Closing as won't fix. It's now 2023, which means it's now ten years after the release of the first generation iPad Air (2013 - 2016).
