Not sure I understand. When you're the recruiter and prompted to place a STEP, the board should gray out all the spaces you _can't_ put a STEP on (leaving the only valid ones their normal color). Does it not work when you click on one of the valid spaces?

I think that the shading routine did not function as intended. The entire board was grayed out. However, by clicking on every space in the path, I eventually found a space that accepted the click and placed a STEP token.

I've reproduced this while playing on my iPad Pro--shading does not seem to function at all.
