In the same game on the following turn I played a card and had the same thing happen:

i.imgur.com/4lKoOVy.png - I then clicked on the Phobos Space Haven button and the message appears again and I need to refresh to advance

I think it will be very time consuming to take a screenshot every time I take an action but I have to refresh after every single action or the game does not continue for me.

I also have this problem, and have to reload after each of my opponents' turn too. (example: table 565604521) This only happens with me since playing with Prelude cards. (I am using Microsoft Edge.) It doesn't happen to my opponents using Chrome/Firefox.

It's especially annoying given that red cards disappear after play: by the time I have reloaded after an opponent's move to see what's happening, the card has disappeared, and I have to ask them to spell out to me what the effects were.

I am coming back to this report to reiterate the fact that this continues to be a problem for me in each Terraforming Mars game and only Terraforming Mars games.

This also happens to me every game, multiple times, and only in Terraforming Mars. But only on my Windows computer. If I play on my phone, I never get this problem.

this happen when notifications time out meaning either had bad internal connection or bga server overload. The only workarond switch to turn based and or play in off peak hours

Happened to me in previous game and current game. Must refresh after every single action.
Table #632008404 (current) and #628624549 (previous). Both turn-based games.

[BGA_NOTIF_TIMEOUT] This is a framework issue which I cannot fix in the game, I am bugging bga team about it weekly...
There is notification timeout that cause some notification to be dropped,
and some of them are important such as one that changes the activate player state on mainsite (which keeps separate state of players, its not just in the game).
When occurs, the active player does not receive notification and both player thinks it the other players turn. If you playing turn based game - it may re-synchronise itself in few hours.
I don't know how to solve this in real time game, but just refresh (F5) if your opponent seems to think too long may help.

I'll be honest, I've stopped playing Terraforming Mars for the time being as it has become too much of a chore. However, if it helps to understand the problem, I only play turn based games. I would be prepared to start playing again if my feedback can help troubleshoot.

Have the same issue. After any action, the game freezes until I refresh the page. The same problem occurs when creating a table or any action outside the game - nothing happens until I refresh the page.

Have the same issue. In any game. Tried on phone android with different internet provider. Tried on iphone with safari. On computer change browser from chrome to edge and problem seems gone .

3 день не могу не начать игру не играть, чтоб сделать ход нужно F5 нажимать, каждое действие!

Dear all,

we are currently facing a difficult outage that affects some of our players, mostly from the Russian Federation but also from other countries. The root cause is still unclear but we suspect some kind of filtering either from our provider or from some other routers.

What is sure is that some IP are partially filtered, which causes lags or disconnections. We are investigating, in the meantime, if you have a VPN or can use a mobile phone as a hotspot or a different connection, please use it to be able to access BGA.

As there are lots of duplicates bugs, I will close them to only keep the most upvoted one, boardgamearena.com/bug?id=164966

The link is to a bug report for the BGA website but my issue is ONLY with the game Terraforming Mars. I don't think these are the same problems and shouldn't be consolidated into the same thing

We need your help to diagnose this issue. If you runninig on desktop browser open dev-tools (usually F12) and copy stack trace of exception/error from Console tab into this bug report

The game no longer updates when moves are made, even in an incognito window, or with the cache busted, so I keep needing to hit refresh and I keep running out of time if I forget to refresh, because I do not know it's my turn.
