The game implementation was a bit awkward GUI wise. It was a lot of zooming and scrolling up and down required and I couldn't find a good view to view as much as I want to. But what I think was missing the most is what happens in between phases. It was hard to understand what happened and you are forced to read through the log to find out. Maybe some popup or graphics or similar to show what happens during the phases, especially the war and event phase.
